My shop is at 70 degrees and 46 percent as of yesterday. We had a cold front move through and I'll bet the humidity has dropped a percent at least. A 6 Mil Plastic sheet on studs and ceiling joists helps a lot in controlling humidity in a shop. I use a regular humidifier and dehumidifier as needed. James, in a pinch, I guess your method would work, but your finger may get tired! ![]() |
